What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads, most commonly, that you are signed in.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you signed in and refreshes your session. Set by our authentication provider, Supabase. | Up to 1 year, or until you log out |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Short-lived value used to complete a secure sign-in or password reset flow. | Minutes |
All of these are strictly necessary: without them you could not stay logged in, so no consent banner is required for them under UK and EU rules.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party analytics scripts.
- No social media tracking pixels.
- No cookies at all on short-link redirects or published bio pages.
Our link and page analytics work without setting anything in a visitor's browser, we record a coarse, non-identifying summary server-side instead. The privacy policy explains exactly which fields.
Local storage
Our authentication provider may also use browser local storage to hold your session alongside the cookies above. It serves the same strictly necessary purpose.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view and delete cookies, and block them by site. Blocking ours will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in, but the public tools and pages will still work.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie beyond the strictly necessary ones, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
