Terms of Service

1. The service

Uitly provides free tools for shortening URLs, generating QR codes and publishing link-in-bio pages. We offer the service as it is today; features may change, and we may add optional paid features in future without affecting what is currently free.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you register, keep your password confidential, and be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Uitly to create, host or share links or content that:

• is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;
• distributes malware, phishing pages, scams or deceptive downloads;
• infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• harasses, threatens, defames or endangers any person or group;
• contains sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
• is used to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to disguise the source of such messages;
• attempts to disguise a destination in order to mislead the person clicking;
• probes, scans or overloads our infrastructure, or circumvents any limits we put in place.

We may remove content, disable links and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with notice where practical, and without it where the breach is serious or ongoing.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create on Uitly. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, store, display and deliver it, for example, to serve a published bio page to visitors or to redirect a short link. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already made in routine backups.

You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload, including images used on a bio page.

5. Short links and destinations

Uitly does not control, endorse or take responsibility for the sites a short link points to. We may disable a link if the destination is reported or detected as harmful. Short links that appear to be unused, abusive or automated may be removed.

6. Availability

We work to keep Uitly fast and available, but the service is provided without any uptime guarantee. We may suspend access for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features at any time. For a free service, please do not build a critical business process on it without your own contingency.

7. Intellectual property

The Uitly name, logo, site design and software are ours. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except to link to us or refer to the service by name.

8. Disclaimers

Uitly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. See our disclaimer for more.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uitly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Uitly against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Uitly and delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Uitly after a change means you accept the revised terms.
